What is the game about?

As mentioned, it stars a bounty hunter who hopes to secure an immense reward by slaying the dragon that threatens the land. With his companions, he will set out on a journey to complete his quest. Along the way, he will meet an array of unique characters who will join him on his task.
The game will also be an RPG unlike any other, with every element presented through beautifully illustrated cards, from the characters to the battles. Even the items you purchase or skills you acquired are card-based. Moreover, you will move your avatar across the board, with terrains also depicted on cards. Additionally, there is a Game Master who will narrate and guide you as you play.
Combat-wise, Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars uses a tactical turn-based battle system. When faced with a menagerie of monsters, you must take them out using skills, weapons, and dice roll. In place of mana, you have gems on the top left corner, gaining one each time your character starts their turn. Note that attacks require any number of gems, and you can cast if you don't have enough.
Is the game good?
Overall, Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars offers a unique take on your typical RPG. It tells an interesting story depicted through cards. It is not the fastest game, for sure, with units on the field taking their turn one after another. However, its mechanics are easy to understand. Its battles are random, though, but most elements are dependent on a dice roll.
